Singularity's October Confidential DeFi Update
Update #7
Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to everyone across the globally distributed DeFi network. We're glad you're here.
Another month in the books, and what a month it was! From attending the institutional-focused Bridge Conference in NYC to deploying on SeaSeed Network, and advancing our Cross-Chain Compliance Oracle and Dark Pool smart contracts, it’s been another month of growth for Singularity.
As a reminder, Singularity’s mission is to enable liquid funds, venture funds, and institutions to have discretion and maintain the confidentiality of their on-chain strategies in a compliant manner.
Product Update
Tech Updates:
As we build out ‘OTC ZERO’ our private dark pool designed enable OTC settlement without counterparty risk or an on-chain footprint.
We’ve made significant developments on this end before officially launching and are excited to share with the public in the coming weeks.
The Compliance Portal Proof of Concept POC on the test net allows users to complete KYC or KYB once, minting an access token that can be used across multiple chains. This eliminates the need for users to repeat the process on each chain. Explained more below.
Deployments:
We have added to our EVM ‘arsenal’ and deployed on SeaSeed Network.
SeaSeed Network is a purpose-built Layer 1 designed for the seamless integration of financial assets into the Web3 space, and we couldn't envision a more synergistic chain for our first deployment with an RWA tokenization protocol.
This collaboration initiates a strategic partnership, where we provide SeaSeed with a comprehensive compliance layer for KYB/KYC and a private settlement venue for tokenized asset trading.
Together, we're bridging the TradFi audience into DeFi with all the necessary components—Compliance and Privacy—ensuring they can access decentralized finance in a compliant and secure manner.
SDKs now live
Applications and protocols handling sensitive data can now offer their users the optionality to protect their identity. Enabling this feature is as simple as toggling an on/off switch.
This could include on-chain payroll, vesting, launchpads, trading strategies, invoicing, and anything else that contains on-chain sensitive data.
We've received positive feedback and are in advanced discussions to integrate this into various workflows. All on-chain confidentiality processes occur in the backend, allowing users to focus on key aspects without any additional learning curve.
This advancement will greatly enhance our scalability and extend our reach.

Introducing The Cross-Chain Compliance Aggregator Solution
Another key component added to our privacy toolkit
Our cross-chain compliance solution was purpose-built aggregator to solve the fragmented KYB/KYC experience our users face.
Initially developed as an aggregator of individual KYB/KYC oracles to streamline compliance for our own platform, this solution has since gained interest from RWA protocols that see the compliance layer and private settlement venue as a complementary, holistic approach to meeting both on-chain compliance and privacy needs.
As the crypto economy undergoes a major shift towards regulatory alignment, driven by concerns over fraud, scams, and regulatory scrutiny from bodies like the SEC, compliance is becoming a foundational requirement.
This shift is amplified by the entry of sophisticated individuals and institutions into DeFi, who face barriers due to fragmented compliance infrastructure and strict internal policies.
Our cross-chain compliance aggregator solution addresses these challenges by enabling users to complete KYC/KYB once, providing seamless access to multiple protocols and chains without repeated processes. While initially built to streamline compliance for our protocol, it has evolved into a solution that supports our broader privacy tools, enhancing compliance and privacy for on-chain activities and fulfilling key needs for our partners in the space.
The Bridge Recap:
This past week our CEO, Jemma Xu, contributed to a panel at the institutional-focused Bridge Event hosted by The Tie.
It was exciting to witness how strong the crypto sentiment post election results.
Jemma took the stage alongside Horizen Labs' CEO Robert Viglione and Stasia Carson from Sindri and had a great conversation discussing:
Applications of ZK & privacy for institutional users
ZK tooling
The future of ZK
Stay tuned for the full panel!
Integrations, partners, investors, and users are all welcome to connect with the team.
Thanks for reading our October update!
