Singularity's Confidential DeFi Update
Update #14 – November 2025

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to everyone across the globally distributed DeFi network. We’re glad you’re here.
At Singularity, our mission remains clear: to enable liquid funds, venture funds, and institutions to have discretion and maintain the confidentiality of their on-chain strategies in a compliant manner.
This month, we intensified our efforts on preparing DarkSwap for its mid-December 2025 mainnet, successfully wrapped up the final Horizen testnet campaign, and launched our ongoing testnet campaigns on both Horizen and Sepolia. Alongside these, we joined three AMAs exploring privacy and compliant DeFi, engaging the community and sharing insights into confidential on-chain trading.
Product Developments
DarkSwap – Closer Than Ever to Mainnet
DarkSwap is entering its final stretch before mainnet in mid-December 2025.
Built on Singularity’s modular privacy layer, DarkSwap is being designed as a confidential execution venue where:
Swaps, transfers, and orders for ETH, ERC-20, ERC-721 remain private
An encrypted matching engine removes MEV, front-running, and signal leakage
EVM chains can plug into the same privacy layer for cross-chain execution
In short: DarkSwap is being prepared as the place where funds and institutions can trade on-chain without broadcasting their strategies.

Ongoing Testnet Campaign
In parallel, we are running our final testnet campaign across both Horizen and Sepolia, attracting strong user engagement. Join the campaign and experience DarkSwap in action before mainnet!

Horizen x Singularity – 14-Day Trade War Results
Our 14-day Trade War campaign on Horizen’s L3 privacy stack has officially concluded, closing out a key phase of DarkSwap testnet activity.
Overall results
👛 1,340 total wallets participated
🔁 33,597 total transactions
💧 199.61 sepETH total volume over two weeks
Activity highlights
📈 Nov 13 was the peak day: 10,198 transactions from 899 active wallets
🔄 Strong mid-campaign momentum on Nov 11–12
⚡ Early excitement on Nov 5 with 2,177 transactions kicking off the campaign
Key takeaways
Users gravitated toward high-frequency, low-volume trades → clear room to design future volume-focused challenges
The Discord CTA flow worked very well for education and re-engagement, confirming Discord as our primary retention hub
Sending SepETH → Horizen Testnet ETH directly to user wallets effectively removed the bridging bottleneck and reduced drop-off
These insights will help shape both incentive design and UX for future testnets and the early mainnet phase.
Marketing & Thought Leadership
Three AMAs on Privacy, Modularity, and Compliance
This month, we joined three AMAs to deepen the conversation around private and compliant DeFi:
Horizen x Singularity – “Strengthening Privacy and Modularity”
NOWchain – “Why Privacy Is Becoming Essential in Web3”
ZKMe – “Compliant Confidentiality on Public DeFi Rails”
Replays and recaps are available on X:
In parallel, we continue to:
Run a LinkedIn ABM initiative targeted at funds, venture firms, trading desks, and DAO treasuries
Publish educational content and founder perspectives on confidential execution and compliant privacy
